Yunta Rifle Club
Established in 1923, the Yunta Rifle Club is now located at the Yunta racecourse. Electronic targets are used on the 300-900 yard ranges for Full Bore Long Range rifle shooting.
The Yunta Rifle Club is affiliated with regulatory bodies; the South Australian Rifle Association (SARA) and the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA).
The Yunta Rifle Club shares the Race Club facilities and members contributed toward the recent rebuild of the fully equipped building.
The Club will proudly celebrate it’s Centenary in 2023.
Events
In addition to regular local member shoots, the Club hosts a 2-day Open Prize. There are meetings in August and a one day Christmas Shoot in December. The meetings attract competitors from around SA and Broken Hill.
